Day 1: Hosea Kutako International Airport – Namib Rand
Arrival at Hosea Kutako International Airport in Windhoek, where you will be met by a representative of Namibia Tracks and Trails who will escort you to the check in for your charter flight to the Namib Rand Nature Reserve. Embark on your charter flight to Keerweder, where you will be met and transferred to the lodge.

Day 2: Namib Rand
Early start this morning and after a hearty breakfast you will departure for a full day – exploring all that Sossusvlei and Deadvlei have to offer, as well as a beautiful scenic drive to the Sesriem Canyon.
Before heading back to the lodge for dinner.

Day 3
Namib Rand – Swakopmund
Depart for Swakopmund from Namib Rand. Today’s flight will give you an aerial view of the majestic dunes surrounding Sossusvlei. Proceed along the coast (subject to weather conditions) over Conception Bay, Sandwich Harbour, and its famous lagoon to Swakopmund. A transfer company will drive you from the Swakopmund Airport to your accommodation.

Day 4
Swakopmund – Twyfelfontein
After breakfast and a morning stroll around Swakopmund, your transfer vehicle will arrive to drive you from your accommodation to the Swakopmund Airport. Following check-in, you will board the small aircraft for your short but scenic flight to Twyfelfontein.

Day 5
Twyfelfontein
After an early breakfast at the camp, you will set off on a morning drive in search of the infamous desert elephants.
Namibia’s desert elephants are not a separate species but African bush elephants (Loxodonta africana) that have adapted to survive in the harsh, arid conditions of the Kunene Region’s Kaokoland and Damaraland. They demonstrate unique behaviours, such as traveling up to 70 km to find water, obtaining moisture from plants, and digging for water in dry riverbeds. These elephants are a high conservation priority.

Day 6
Twyfelfontein – Ongava Private Game Reserve
After breakfast you will be escorted to the airfield for another beautiful scenic light aircarft flight to a private game reserve bordering the Etosha National Park. Upon landing at Ongava’s private airstrip your rangers await you and will transfer you to Ongava Lodge.

Day 7
Ongava Lodge
After breakfast, you will embark on a morning game drive into the Etosha National Park, a truly unique and stunning National Park.
After a light lunch and a siesta back at the lodge you will set-off into the Ongava Reserve on an afternoon game drive, including a sunset stop to experience one of Namibia’s spectacular sunset.

Day 8
Ongava Private Game Reserve – Okonjima Nature Reserve
After a last morning game drive at Ongava & breakfast, the scheduled flight takes you to the Okonjima Nature Reserve, which is the home of the AfriCat Foundation, a non-profit organisation dedicated to the conservation and protection of Namibian predators.

Day 9
Okonjima Nature Reserve – End of Safari
Today you fly back to Windhoek in time for check-in on your outbound flight.
