Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival and Mabamba Swamp. Airport pickup and transfer to Mabamba Swamp for Shoebill Stork tracking by canoe. Afternoon birding around Entebbe Botanical Gardens.
Day 2: Entebbe to Kibale National Park. Morning departure to Kibale Forest. Afternoon forest birding walk targeting Green-breasted Pitta and other forest species.
Day 3: Full Day Kibale Forest Birding. Early morning and afternoon birding sessions. Target species include African Pitta, Blue-headed Sunbird, and various hornbills.
Day 4: Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Morning birding en route. Afternoon birding along Kazinga Channel for water birds and raptors.
Day 5: Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi. Morning game drive and birding. Afternoon transfer to Bwindi for Albertine Rift endemic species.
Day 6: Bwindi Forest Birding. Full day targeting Albertine Rift endemics including African Green Broadbill, Shelley Crimsonwing, and various sunbirds.
Day 7: Bwindi to Kampala. Morning birding session. Afternoon drive back to Kampala with birding stops en route.
