This 4-day Central Kafue Bush Break features the central part of the vast Kafue National Park. It’s only a 4 hours drive away from Lusaka and you are in the pristine wilderness. Lions, leopards and even wild dogs can be seen here not to forget the big herbivores, like elephants and buffaloes.

Day 1:Lusaka to Kafue National Park
Let’s go west for the 4 – Day Central Kafue Bush Break. At 08:00 o’clock the driver will pick you up from your accommodation in Lusaka. It’s only a 4hrs drive to get to Mayukuyuku Bush Camp inside Kafue NP. This camp is on the banks of the Kafue River near the rapids that gave the camp its name. From your Tented Chalet you can overlook the lifeline of the national park – the Kafue River. The illusive African Finfoot and Pel’s Fishing Owl are present in this area. A female Leopard incorporated the Mayukuyuku Bush Camp into her territory. Unwind with a Sunset Cruise on the Kafue River. Maybe you spot a Half-collard Kingfisher.

Day 2-3 :Explore the central Kafue National Park
The early bird catches the worm. With the first glimpse of the new day you will be woken up. A hot cuppa gives you the energy for the morning activity. You might be back at camp for lunch if not you’ll have a picnic out there in the Bush. In the late afternoon you’ll head out again to catch one of the fabulous African sunsets. 2 activities are included per day. You got a choice of boat cruise, fishing trip, morning and afternoon game drive and walking safari. Please talk to your guide to make your stay as enjoyable for you as possible.

Day 4: Return to Lusaka
After an energizing breakfast, you’ll pack up and head back to Lusaka. Please let us know where your preferred drop off point is or if catching a flight, tell us the flight details.
