Arrival
Day 1: Johannesburg to Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate
Embark on an unforgettable safari adventure as you depart from Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport at 7:00am in a comfortable shared minivan transfer. Travel through the scenic Highveld and Lowveld regions of Mpumalanga, arriving at Ivory Moon Lodge at approximately 2:00pm. After a refreshing break, your adventure begins with an afternoon sunset game drive in the Greater Kruger’s Blue Canyon Reserve, where you explore the wilderness in an open safari vehicle.
Keep an eye out for Africa’s iconic Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo) as well as other remarkable wildlife such as giraffe, zebra and hippo. As the sun sets over the savanna, enjoy sundowners in the bush before returning to the lodge for a delicious dinner and fireside storytelling beneath a starlit African sky.

Day 2 : 9-Hour Kruger National Park Open Vehicle Safari Drive
Following an early wake-up call, enjoy tea, coffee and rusks before departing for a full-day open-vehicle safari drive from approximately 6:00am to 3:30pm. Brunch is included along the route, and your guide will make additional stops for you to purchase refreshments during the day.
Spend approximately seven to eight hours exploring Kruger National Park, focusing on the Orpen–Satara area for a greater chance of encountering lions. Return to the lodge to unwind before a starlit dinner by the fire.

Day 3: Morning Bush Walk and Return to Johannesburg
Embark on a 1.5-hour guided bush walk through the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, where you will explore the area’s diverse flora, fauna and animal tracks while observing plains game up close with expert guidance. Afterward, enjoy a hearty breakfast on the deck before checking out and transferring back to Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport.
